RINGO FOR PRESIDENT
Let the nations all come together
and share Ringo's peace and love
he'll even share his fancy rings
for those that hold the doves.

World peace is what John said
Ringo heard and carries his tune
with his drums and music too
the dream can't come too soon.

We love you Ringo, you are the man(start chorus)
while the world hides, you are so cool
help fix this crazy world, we know you can
Ringo for President, oh we're for you.(end chorus)

Shaking that mop top hair
pounding those Beatles songs
you jumped into our hearts
we know you can't do wrong.

(repeat chorus)

Hey Ringo what do you think?
we'd love to know what to do
come on Ringo and clue us in
your fans are cheering for you.

(repeat chorus)

BEATLES MUSIC SCENE
In the town where I was born
lived three lads who had big dreams
played guitars and all did sing
needed a good drummer, so it seems.

Ringo joined the Beatles music scene(start chorus)
the Beatles music scene
the Beatles music scene.

Ringo joined the Beatles music scene
the Beatles music scene
the Beatles music scene(end chorus)

so they practiced oh so hard
became the Cavern Club stars
George Martin had them looking
hired a fellow called Ringo Starr.

(repeat chorus)
the Beatles music scene

They were known as the fab four
John, Paul George and Ringo Starr
he made the songs move along
four lads had reached the stars.

CAVERN CLUB
The Quarrymen played the Cavern Club
in fifty-seven they punched the clock
played some Elvis Presley numbers
was told to cut out the bloody rock.

The Cavern was an old wine cellar
located in the heart of liverpool
started wanting a jazz only beat
ended up a place where rock ruled.

Leather suits and sweaty walls (start chorus
four young liverpool lads had a ball
in a noisy, dim, damp cellar hole
a fresh new sound enjoyed by all.

Jingle, jangle, pop, that special sound
finger snaps and harmonies that soared
the Fab Four kept Cavern dwellers around
with claps, yeah yeahs, and more.(end chorus)

The Beatles played the Cavern Club
for the first time in nineteen sixty-one
got about 25 shillings for their pay
Mathew street fame had just begun.

Discovered on a fateful hunch by Brian E
a record store owner with a good eye
signed a contract to manage his boys
Eppy made them his number one prize.

(repeat chorus)

Brian made them change their clothes
clean their act, find a recording home
replaced Pete with Ringo's sticks
got a deal from George at Parlophone.

Their first, Love Me Do was too slow
but their recording career had begun
George recorded the next one faster
Please Please Me became number one.

(repeat chorus)

TO YOU FROM ME
If there's anything that you want (start chorus)
if there's anything I can be
I'm Ringo Starr and I'll play you a song
with love to you from me.

I love pounding out the big beat
love hearing the cheering fans
I'm Ringo Starr and I'll play you a song
with love to you from me. (end chorus)

I have two arms to hold you
six more if that's what you need

LIVERPOOL LADS
Hey, make a show make a show
that's what the German owner said
so John became all the rage
with a toilet seat round his head.

but all were not legal nor ready
had to pack their bags late at night
and of all the things lit a rubber
to try and have a light.

Pete was hoping to stay on the bus
but Ringo quickly took his seat
the band headlined the Cavern Club
and their career never missed a beat.

The fab four are forever(start chorus)
they have stood the test of time
they set the world on a high
always opened up our minds.

So heres to you four lads
a toast for all those songs
your were part of our lives
through all the rights and wrongs.(end chorus)

John Paul George Ringo was the band
fond memories for Stu and Pete
showed the world at every turn
that they was the band to beat.

They told us that our bird was green
that broken wings could learn to fly
apples could be used for records
how about some white honey pie.

Took us on a magical mystery tour
Nowhere Man made us laugh and cry
showed us all we needed was love
told us not to let our dreams die.

(Repeat Chorus)

So does it really matter
if the walrus was John or Paul?
what about all the lonely people
and Eleanor's poor face in a jar.

Who knew eight days were in a week
or that living was a hard day's night?
that life could be a long winding road
that Strawberry Fields was oh so right.

Sgt Pepper was the leader of the band
shouting peace and love for all
all they wanted was to hold your hand
they were John George Ringo and Paul!

(Repeat Chorus)

TANGERINE DAYS
Looking back at those groovy days of youth
times seemed to be full of fab gear sounds
as Mersey beats invaded our pocket radios
mop top hair and pointed boots all around.

Four young lads led a musical revolution
lucy with her diamonds rising so high
blackbirds, cold turkey, yellow custard
tangerine dreams with marshmellow pies.

Summer rain fell across the universe
sounds of sweet honey pie for you blue
nothings gonna change our world we thought
forever strawberrys were made just for you.

Sometimes life made it hard to let it be
and the taxman seemed to want it all
but doctor Roberts and the Walrus arrived
and showed us all how to have a ball.

So is this a hello or goodbye for you?
tomorrow never knows if you've been
so gather lots of flowers along the way
and of course a little help from your friends.

And when good morning turns to good night
and the old brown shoe begins to fall
we will always remember those crazy days
come together and share being part of it all.

Special memories from me to you
tangerine dreams, love was all around
dancing, holding hands, singing a tune
those special days with special sounds.

Incense, tie-dye, and those fabulous beads
beautiful words making a beautiful sound
four special lads just having some fun
tangerine days, sure glad I was around.
