BEATLES FULL BAND SIGNED 1963 PLEASE PLEASE ME 45 SINGLE AND SLEEVE-We have a very rare item here. This is the first issue (January 1963) red label, Parlophone single for the Beatles first number one hit "Please Please Me." Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have signed on the A side label while John Lennon signed on the B side label(dark blue ballpoint pen). The original owner has penned their name to the B side label. The record is stored in the issue sleeve with George Harrison's signature (dark blue ballpoint pen) at the top. The original owner also penned "Look" with arrow pointed towards George's signature and "Please Please Me Jan 11, 1963" on the sleeve. The original owner also penned their last name (same as record label) just below the sleeve hole. It is believed that these signature were obtained very near the issue date of this rare record. The record is in G+ condition with some scratches, an edge warp, and some scuffs. There is a paper pull on the B side label. Fame was at hand, but these signatures are their early unpolished signatures unlike the polished ones that would follow later. The sleeve shows wear, age yellowing, and old tape stains to old tears. This is an extremely rare signed 45 and sleeve. You can find many signed Beatles items, but rarely a record and sleeve, and especially on their first number one hit. An historic and very collectible item. This comes with a Perry Cox and a GDM Enterprises COA. When the Perry Cox COA was issued the sleeve was mounted to a black background (which has been removed). BEATLES FULL BAND SIGNED 1963 AUTOGRAPH PAGE - A 13"x 16" black wood frame with matted color photo, 2 guitar picks, and a 3" x 3 1/4" yellow autograph page signed by all 4 Beatles with Ringo adding "Beatles" at the top. This page has been clipped from an autograph book and dates to very early 1963. Somewhere along the line the page got wet and has wrinkled and shows light even bleeding to the ballpoint pen signatures (see photo). QUARRYMEN AUTOGRAPHED ELECTRIC GUITAR PLUS EXTRA #1-Full size, strat style, S-101 brand, imported guitar. The scratch plate has been signed boldly by John Lowe and Len Garry in black sharpie and Rod Davis and Colin Hanton in blue sharpie. The signatures were all obtained in Chicago on 5 August 2007. The pick guard was removed when signed. When re-installed one knob covers part of Rod's first name. To make this an even better display group you will also receive a framed display that has two different film clips (2 frames each) of 2 famous still shots used in a documentary film showing photos taken on the 6 of July, 1957 when John Lennon (playing with the Quarrymen) met Paul McCartney. Also included are 3 guitar picks as shown. A strip of actual St. Peters Church (where John met Paul) wall fragments are inside the display. This wall section of the Hall of St. Peters Church (where Paul met John) was recovered during a 2002 renovation. The gentleman who recovered the wall section was a Beatles fan who just happened to be there when the removal of the wall, from the Hall where John met Paul so many years ago, took place. I acquired several pieces and because of their thickness I had to remove some of the base to make a display. I saved the base material and reduced it and strained it to make this display possible. The old wall had over 1" of base material (sand mixture etc,) and then a thick layer of plaster on top that was then painted. 1964 STAR CLUB MANFRED WEISSLEDER SIGNED BILL AND SECTION OF STAR CLUB STAGE-Large 4"x11 1/2" bill of exchange dated 2 March, 1964 signed by Star Club owner Manfred Weissleder in blue pen. The bill is framed with a b/w photo and an actual segment of the famed Star Club stage. Manfred Weissledger launched the famed Star Club in April 1962 with the Beatles topping the bill. He died in 1980. The Star Club suffered a fire in 1983. In the summer of 1985 Gunter Zint salvaged sections of the famed stage at Grosse Feiheit No39 before the 12 October, 1986 demolition of the night club. Zint issued limited edition (1,000 pieces) of the storied stage floor. You will receive a copy of the Star Club stage COA and a GDM Enterprises lifetime guarantee Certificate of Authenticity.
