Abbey Road Studios, 3 Abbey Road, St. John's Wood, London NW8. The building was first errected as a detached residence in 1830. It was purchased by the Gramophone Company Limited in December 1929 and converted into a recording studio. By the time it officially opened on 12 November 1931, the Gramophone Company had merged with Columbia Records to become EMI. The Beatles first entered Abbey Road Studios for their original recording audition on Wednesday, 6 June 1962 and became regular users over a period of seven years.
THREE MUSICLAND BEATLES FLEXIS-These "red, white, and blue" flexi discs were issued by Capitol as promotional giveaways to encourage the sale of the Capitol catalog of Beatles albums. The transparent 7-1/4" square discs were adhered to a card with photos of the group on the front visible through the soundsheet. The top corner section of the wrap on the left side has been removed to reveal the gold foil stamp promo information with #B627330. Sharp corners and with "A Capitol Value" sticker. Not very many of these around. $50

BEATLES "THE AMAZING BEATLES" STEREO RECORD ALBUM -Clarion 601 issued in 1966. Cover shows some rubbing and some wear/pushing on the left and bottom seams. Small 1/2" tear at the mouth. This is the issue that has the 21 mini-LP photo ad back. The record is a strong VG+. Both labels are excellent condition, but one label does have some bubbles/lifting (see photo). Still, a very nice example and hard to find. $95
